No. Text analysis and redaction run entirely in your browser. Your files and pasted text are never uploaded.

What types of data can this tool detect?

This version focuses on structured PII such as emails, phone numbers, SSN-like patterns, payment-card numbers, IBANs, IPv4 addresses, and any custom terms you add yourself.

Does the PDF redactor work on scanned documents?

Only PDFs with selectable text are supported. If a PDF is image-based or scanned, extraction quality will be limited and OCR is not included in this tool.
